Jimmy's Update

Hello furry fwends. Thank you very much for your support with Jimmy's illness. He has a "healers" appointment in 3 hours. Mum and Dad have been feeding him vegetable soup through a syringe for the past 16 hours and just now he has eaten half a syringe of soup, the most he has been able to take so far :) But Mummy told me not to get too excited just yet, because his face swelling still hasn't stopped and he has started swelling under his chin now too. It's very upsetting to us and Tahlia is acting weird, like she knows something is going to happen. Because this all started on a Saturday night, no healers were available and there is only 1 healing place open today. We don't like this particular place but its our only hope at the moment.

A SAD DAY :(

Hello my furry friends and their hoomans. It is with great sadness that I ask for your furry good vibes for my little brother Jimmy Rabbit. At this stage we are unsure what is wrong but he is not looking good. My Mum and Dad will be taking him to the "healers" tomorrow but they have told me he may not come home. I'm very upset right now and I don't wont to lose my little brother :'(

I don't understand why the hoomans have to spend all day at "Work". I work at home, why can't they? I think "work" is code for something else. I'm gonna have to investigate this further.

Barkin' with Bones Vs Suzuki

Hello my furry friends :) Suzuki here.

We had a furry fun and interesting weekend here.

Our local pet shop lady passed away a few months ago and her family has re-opened her shop for 1 week only and they are selling everything half price! Mum and Dad went there and brought heaps of things. They got lots of Koi fish food for the fish in our pond and they got lots of rabbit food for Brandon and Jimmy. But best of all they got us presents too! We got a big bed to lie on (another one) and some doggles. For those of you who don't know Doggles are a really cool eyewear company for dogs. They make sunglasses and goggles. I already have a pair of the K9 Optix sunglasses and a pair of doggles, so Dad brought Tahlia and Scooby a pair each. Scooby's were too big for him but Tahlia's fit BOL. She looked so funny, I look way cooler in mine :D Big licks to you, Suzuki xxx

We went walkin' again today and it was pawsome! There was no one else at the park so Tahlia and Scooby got to play off their leads as well :)

This is OUR yard. Mummy and Daddy have 3 areas to their backyard... A patio and pond area (the rabbit are out there too), the pool area and OUR yard. Mummy wants to do our yard up real pretty for us. Her and Daddy brought us a new kennel for Christmas and they brought us our own pool a couple of weeks ago. Mummy wants some ideas of other things she can do in there to make it pretty and fun for us but still a safe area for us to play in. Most of our area is paved. We have a small area behind our pool which is sand/ex-grass. Daddy has put grass in there 3 times for us and we keep destroying it. Do any of my furry friends have any ideas about what to do in there? I'll tell Mummy any and all of your ideas! I asked her to video or yard for your creative pleasure :D

My Dad and My Brother... Something's up!

Hello furry friends!
Something is going on between my Dad and my brother. My Dad has always favoured his girls but for the last 2 days Dad has been taking Scooby running with him and when they get back they go out to Daddy's workshop and do weights. I'M NOT HAPPY! Daddy is mine! I am just going to have to make my Mummy give me more attention.

Me demanding more attention from Mummy, she can't ignore me if I attach myself to her leg :D

Oh oh! Mummy caught me on the laptop. I used to make her type my blogs for me becuase I pretended I couldn't use the computer but she caught me! AND she took a photo so I couldn't deny it :(

The Death Roll

My sister Tahlia is known for her Death Roll... No bug has ever escaped it.
Step 1. Get "the look" in your eye
Step 2. Drop your shoulder
Step 3. Throw yourself (back first) towards the ground and twist your body at the same time
Step 4. Hit the ground twisting and don't stop until you are satisfied
Step 5. When you are satisfied, flip back over and smile :D

The Storm

Hello furry friends!
I have a funny furry story to tell :)
Last night we had a huge storm... in the middle of Summer! It happened at 2.30am and Mummy woke up first... she heard it coming. She woke Dad up and said "Maybe you should go and get the Rabbits in". You see my little furry brothers Brandon and Jimmy have 3 hutches, a travel hutch, their indoor hutch (for Winter and when it rains) and their outdoor hutch that Dad built for them. Jimmy has had the Rabbit flu a few times and is very sensitive to the weather so Mum didn't want him to get cold. She woke Dad again and said "You better bring the boys in or Jimmy will get sick"... After a few moments she got up and turned the bright light on Daddy and yelled at him to "GET OUT OF BED AND BRING THE RABBITS IN!" She said some other words in there too, but I'm a good girl and I don't want to repeat them. So at 2.30am this morning Mum and Dad were outside in the thunder and lightning setting up the bunnies indoor hutch and getting them ready for bed inside. I stood at the door laughing. Daddy was not happy :o
Then when they finally got the rabbits inside and comfortable Tahlia started freakin' out! She suffers from panic attacks, especially when there is thunder and lightning. So Mum had to pick her up and let her under the blankets so she could sleep between Mum's baby cows. My family is weird....

Secondly, my Mum finally convinced Dad to buy us our own pool!

Mummy's Sadness

Hello everybody!
I'm sorry I have not been online lately. Mum has not been very well and she is very sad, so I have been doing my best to cheer her up. She likes it when I just lay next to her and put my head on her lap. But I am back online now with one paw on the computer and one on Mum's lap. Tahlia and Dad said to say thank you to those who commented on their work on the pool fencing.

Barkin' with Bones #1

Hello everyone and welcome to the 1st ever Barkin with Bones Blog. Let me introduce myself. My name is Tahlia aka T-Bone. Why T-Bone? When Mum and Dad rescued me from the cage with all the other homeless dogs I was nothing but a Bag of Bones. I was named Tahlia after one of the ladies at the shelter and Mum started calling me Tali Bones and eventually it just became T-Bone.

My posts are going to be random ramblings about what goes on in our house. The first one is based on our pool. Mum told Dad she didn't like not having the pool area decorated so she brought some bamboo fencing and made him put it up.

This is me patrolling the pool area.

I needed a break and it was hot so I went to lay down on the top step and Dad busted me :(

Oh No fellow bloggers! There was a shark attack at the beach where I go boogey boarding! A man got eaten! Mum wont let me go there to boogey board now :( I feel sorry for the man. He was probably just enjoying the beach like I do. His hooman family said that they don't want the other hoomans to hunt the shark.
