Sam the koala is in love!

So many of you have shown such an interest in Sam the Koala that I (by force of Mummy) have decided to post an update. She is currently staying at a Wildlife Shelter. She is doing well and her burns should take about 7-8 months to heal. The furry exciting news is SAM HAS MET A BOY! She has befriended a koala named Bob who was rescued 2 days earlier than Sam. Bob has also suffered third degree burns to 3 of his paws but should be well enough to be returned to the bush in 4 months. But will he want to leave his new friend? Sam and Bob have been seen hugging and apparently have become quite good friends. For the full koala love story, please click here.

Thank you for remembering Jimmy Rabbit

Hello everybody. This is Suzuki's Mum Shannan. We would like to take a moment to thank all our friends, human and furry, for their support and messages of love during this sudden illness and loss of Jimmy Rabbit.
We would like to send a special thank you to Addie, Lucie & their Mum Staci for the extra support they have given us all at this sad time. Words alone cannot express how thankful we are for the support of this wonderful community.

In Memory of Jimmy Rabbit 2005-2009 R.I.P

It is with great sadness that I tell you that our sweet, loving Jimmy Rabbit was helped to the bridge this afternoon. Jimmy has never really been what you would call a healthy rabbit but he had heart and character and we loved him like a son.
Jimmy and his Dad had a special bond and it is his Dad who is hurting the most right now.
Thank you all for your messages of concern over the last 24 hours during Jimmy's sudden decline.
Jimmy's pooch brother Jerry would have been waiting at the bridge for him alongside his wiggy brothers Wiggy & Jaffa.
