Five Fur Friday #9 DIEGO Readers Choice

Hello loyal readers and welcome to another edition of Five Fur Friday. This week we have another fairly new dog blogger fur me to delve deep into their mind and ask them the questions you didn't even know that you wanted to know the answers to until they were asked.... he's cute, he's fluffy, he hangs around with mega huge celebrities... The one... the only... DIEGO DOG!

Bark Kent: Hi Diego! Thank you fur taking the time to bark with me today.

Diego: Hi Bark. Welcome to my lakefront compound on the shores of Lake Washington. I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to meet you. After being hounded by the press and paparazzi for months, I am glad to finally grant an interview to the only honest reporter on the web. So, let's get to it!

Bark Kent: I like the way you think... So who was the first pup to bark on your blog and do you still bark with them today?

Diego: The first one to bark on my blog was my cousin Winston. He is my main man and handles my East Coast Operations. The first follower on my blog was Mason Dixie. She's my best gal pal to this day.

Bark Kent: Who is the top dog in your house, yourself or Rocky?

Diego: I have to say Rocky is. He's a great brother and has supported me in my career 100%. He doesn't care for publicity and is happy to stay out of the limelight.

Bark Kent: If you were stranded on a desert island, what 3 things would you take with you and why?

Diego: That's a tough one. First would be my favorite book "George Clooney-The Last Great Movie Star". I've learned a lot from George. Second would be one of the fine ladies who blog. Third would be a satellite computer so we could continue to blog to our friends.


Bark Kent: I understand your Mum plays the Native American Flute, do you like to sing along when she is playing?

Diego: Well, to tell the truth I'm getting kind of sick of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Dad, Rocky and I just smile and tell her she is doing good. She really needs lots of practice.

Bark Kent: Finally, are you a single pup, and if you are, if you could have your choice of any of the female pups out there, who would it be and why?

Diego: Well Bark, when you are in the public eye like I am, I have found that it is best to keep my romantic life under wraps as much as possible. That is another thing I learned from George.

Bark Kent: Thank you furry much fur your time today Diego, it has been a pleasure barking with you!

Diego: It's been awesome having you here in Kirkland.

Bark Kent: Suzuki's Mum has asked me to post an update on Scooby. He now has his new-ters and is currently as high as a kite and passed out on the lounge.

Scooby, A Message fur Rambo & Checkers and an Appeal

Well friends, as Ludo would say, Scooby is going to be getting new-ters on Friday.
He's excited, but we know what new-ters are and he is not gonna be happy!

About 300 stray dogs were rounded up by Pulau Ketam residents and deported to an isolated island to fend for themselves. Over half of them are already dead and the remaining ones may not live long. A rescue mission is being mounted and your help is needed.

Hello Furry Friends! I promised my brother Scooby Doo that I would help him out with his singles this week because he is still not well. So without further aDOO, meet Scooby's current single clients:

LUDO
How would you describe yourself to a pup that had never met you? I is fun and adventurous, but wary or strangers. Playful and happy and up for anything unless it be bedtime and then I just likes to sleep. I likes learning new things, running about, getting good cuddles and long conversations (barking lots)
What are you looking fur in a fur partner? A beautiful girl that likes playing lots and cosying up somewhere warm. But someone not too needy as i is a young dog and not ready to settle down yet. I also need someone brave, as I is a sheltie we can be scared of the monsters in the world and someone who wouldn't mind being herded from time to time. BOL!

PRUETT
How would you describe yourself to a pup that had never met you? I am high drive. Always ready for action. Spontaneous. A good communicator (the humans just think I'm noisy but I know that special someone will understand me). Energetic. Doesn't tire easily (wink, wink). Confident. Loves to try new things.
Are you looking fur a particular breed in a partner? Well, probably someone pretty big. I'd hate to be playing and accidentally squash my girlfriend. I don't mind slobbery either. Hopefully she doesn't either!

LILY
How do you like to spend your time? sleeping chasing my 6 furballs (KITTYS)lying on my bean loving the bean girl (12) her is mine
What are you looking fur in a fur partner? Tall dark and furry smart and cute like me

CHASE
How do you like to spend your time? I love to play! Anytime I see a new dog, I get into my play position and bark! Playing is my number one hobby. I also like to chew on anything tasty like: cell phones, socks, and the bookshelf...yumm!
What are you looking fur in a fur partner? Someone with a lot of energy and playfulness! You have to be able to keep up with my spunkyness!

SAMANTHA
How would you describe yourself to a pup that had never met you? I’m fairly tall with golden hair and big brown eyes that can mesmerize. If you’re into trying to communicate with humans, I’ve found that using my nose to nudge peoples’ hands that, say, might be typing... usually helps them figure out what I want. (I’m pretty smart!)
Are you looking fur a particular breed in a partner? No, but the ideal doggie should probably be smaller than me, cause I really like puppy types – energy-wise.

How do you like to spend your time? Sunbathing, playing with my puppies, hunting for mouse, lizard and cockroach *sniffs*
What are you looking fur in a fur partner? An energetic, fun, cute, trustworthy, and understandable partner.

How do you like to spend your time? chasing dogs at the dog park. chasing my sister. annoying my sister. playing with our toys. chewing on tennis balls. snooping around on the hoomans night stands.
Are you looking fur a particular breed in a partner? Welshie, or Lakeland, or WFT. Actually, any breed is fine. (he likes big girls too!)

How would you describe yourself to a pup that had never met you? Fun loving, adventurous, old, bi-lingual, good cook, sassy

How do you like to spend your time? Running, dog-wrestling, looking for poles and trunks, going to the river.
Are you looking fur a particular breed in a partner? No, but I would prefer hairy breeds.

TRAVIS
How do you like to spend your time? Either relaxing in the sun or running round the house like a psychotic maniac!
What is your idea of the perfect first date? First a run on the beach then a Chinese then we go watch a movie and then we do it all again and again and after we have done this 3 times go back to the house and sleep!

MORGAN
How would you describe yourself to a pup that had never met you? I am smart and beautiful, but I like mud too.
Are you looking fur a particular breed in a partner? NO, but I like shelties and border collies

SABRINA
How do you like to spend your time? dating..eating..sleeping..barking..etc etc
What is your idea of the perfect first date? a candle light dinner.. playing together..;)

Scooby Update: Still bleeding, trying to book an x-ray and ultrasound, next step will be the snip.

Mummy Update: Getting better, has more mobility but now it looks like she will need to have one of her wisdom teeth out. Grandpaw said she can't afford to lose one of those. I don't understand what he meant by that but Mummy was mad.

Scruff Update: Still missing. Last seen heading to New York to visit Abby but never made it.

We were quite full after our biscuits and burgers, so we decided to share a slice with our partners. No photos of that because, well, um, it turns out that Rambo and I both love our food... A LOT... Things got violent... But we made up after dinner :)

Hello friends! Suzuki here. Checkers introduced us to Daisy today, and she is having a furry cool birthday contest. This is how it works. Tahlia's Birthday Part 1: The daytime...

Hello Suzuki's furry friends!
Tahlia here, and as you are all aware, yesterday was my 7th birthday. My fluffball cousin Scruff kindly offered to pick up my boy Rambo, Suzuki's boy Checkers and Scooby's love of his life, Lady on Thursday so they could be here on time fur Friday, my birthday.

Here is Scooby waiting fur Lady to arrive...

This is the last time we saw Scooby until Daddy got home... Once his Lady arrived, he rushed off to be with her and she fussed over him non stop! And it was MY BIRTHDAY!

Rambo and Checkers were outside when this package arrived. Look at the name on it! S U Z U K I !!! A package from Checkers. He should have just brought it with him, it would have got here quicker!

There is toys, outfits, food and a beautiful note from Checkers!

Well she just had to rush out to the lounge room and say thank you to him...
After the initial excitement of our beautiful partners arrival, we decided to spend the day doing what we wanted. Scooby was being fussed over by Lady, every time Mummy tried to get a photo, she would tell Mummy to leave him alone and let him rest. So there are no photos of them until later in the evening.

Rambo and I decide we wanted to sleep so Mummy tucked us into her and Daddy's bed while she drove Checkers and Suzuki to the beach so Suzi could teach Checkers how to surf.

Does it look like he is having fun? Suzi said he is a natural!

When Daddy got home, he took Scooby (and Lady) to the Vet and to pick up our dinner. The party really got started when they came back. Stay tuned fur more photos where I get to open some presents from Ludo and Mason Dixie!

Scooby's Vet Outcome: Same vet surgery, different vet... This vet has said that it could be his change in diet that has caused the bleeding, even though Mummy asked the other vet and he said no, it wouldn't be that. He has another course of stronger anti-biotics and he has to wear a cone on his head and if it continues he will have to have an ultrasound next week. The vet believes it is not life threatening.
